PKR Points

PKR poker has a pretty unique way of giving out points.  While other rooms limit you to just a few points at a time, PKR let you earn up to 150 points in a given hand. 

Unfortunately, these points don't hold the same value like you may be use to, but can be redeemed for quite a few goodies.

Unlike most rooms, you will actually be able to use the points that your earn while you play at the real money tables.  There are two ways to earn points at PKR.

PKR Points from Cash Tables

The first way is at real money cash tables.  For ever dollar in rake that the house takes from a given hand, 100 points will be distributed throughout the table.  Now, the points won't be split up evenly among the players.  It all depends on how much money you have toward the pot.

PKR poker takes 5% of the total pot for rake, maxing out at $3.00, which would be a total of 300 points being given out at the table.  If you are apart of a $40 pot, the house would take $2.00 in rake (200 total points).  If you distributed $20 toward that $40 pot, then you would be rewarded 50 percent of the points (100 pts).  This is because you contributed 50 percent of the total pot.

If the rake is maxed out and multiple people have contributed toward the pot, you will receive the same percentage of pts. that you have put toward the pot.  So, if there are four people in a $100 pot ($3.00 of rake and 300 total pts) and you each put in $25 (25% of the pot), you will each receive 25% of the points.

PKR Points from Tournaments

You will earn a total of 100 points for every $1 that you spend in tournament buy-in fees.  So if you play a $30+3 tournament, you would earn 300 points.

As you can see, PKR points will add up very quickly.  It's not like other rooms where you can earn a maximum of three FPP's per hand.  PKR has a very unique point system to go along with a very unique 3d poker environment.
